Various
Co-curricular activities are designed for the
benefit of the students :
1. The
National Cadet Corps (N.C.C)
Aim :To
help developing character, commandership, the
ideal of service and capacity for leadership in
young men and women of our nation.
To
provide service training to young men and women so
as to stimulate interest in the defense of the
country.
To
build up reserve of potential manpower to enable
the armed forces to expand rapidly in a national
emergency.
The College has
one NCC Subunit with two platoon (Strength : 100
cadets) . Enrollment is open for students in first
year degree classes. Special incentive benefits
are granted by the University and Government in
the form of bonus marks and credits to cadets in
the matter of selection to course of study
Professional and Non-professional. The cadets are
also given preference in the selection to various
officer posts in the Indian Army, Navy and Air
force. The 'C' Certificate holders are given
permanent commission into the Indian Military
academy, Dehra Dun.

Development of personality of students through
community service.
Objectives :
To work with and among common people.
To enhance creative and
constructive social action.
To enable him / her
understand the basic needs of the society.
To gain skill in programme
development.
To enable him / her get
self employment.
To develop leadership
quality.
To bridge the gulf between
educated and uneducated masses.
To promote the will to
serve the weaker sections of the society.
The College has
three units of NSS with 100 volunteers each.
Enrollment is open to all students in the first
year degree classes. The certificate issued by the
University will enable the student to get
incentive and bonus marks for getting admission
for higher studies.
